A less-known fact about me is that I actually grew up as a cellist before I ever picked up a bass. My dad was a cellist, and then started playing bass for fun in college. I was about 15 when I started tinkering around on his 70s-era P-Bass Render rip-off. 😅 I think it was a… Maya? Anyway, I was just like that girl in School of Rock - “Cellooooo, you’ve got a bass.” That influence is what birthed the entire orchestral disc, so I thought only appropriate to feature my two childhood instruments together, cello and piano, in a few of the orchestral songs.
